Tatouage d'épaule

Traditional process

The artist will put a cellophane (plastic film) on the tattoo, it is recommended to keep it maximum 6 hours after the installation.

Once this time has passed, you will have to rinse it with clean water, avoiding orienting the shower head directly on the tattoo. We wash our hands well and gently caress in the shape of a circle on the tattoo to remove the excess blood and ink that may have oozed.

Once the shower is finished, you can let it air dry; If you are in a hurry, gently dab it with a clean paper towel. The first night after the tattoo, you can cover it again with cellophane to protect it. In the morning, you can take a shower again and repeat the steps explained above.

Once the tattoo is dry, you can apply a thin layer of moisturizer, recommended by your tattoo artist (usually Hustle Butter on sale at the shop or Bepanthene on sale in any pharmacy).

Healing process Dermalize ou Second Skin

Crème pour le visage

The artist will ask you a Dermalize (or other mark). This dressing mode allows you to take a shower and protect the tattoo during the first days of healing. You can take a shower at your ease. It is recommended to keep it for up to 5 days after installation.

Once this time has passed, you will have to take one of the upper corners of the dressing during your shower and pull it in your direction, while running a little water just above the tattoo. The dressing should be easily removed.

Once removed and your hands clean, you can gently stroke your tattoo to remove blood, ink and glue residue.

Once the shower is finished, you can let it air dry; If you are in a hurry, gently dab it with a clean paper towel.

Contre-Indications

IIt is forbidden to:

Expose your tatoo to the sun (even protected by a bra or bandage) Immerse it in water (swimming pool, sea, ocean, bath, sauna, hammam...)

Wear synthetic and tight clothes on the area, the tattoo must breathe to the maximum -> favor wide and cotton clothes Scratch it, indeed during healing, the tattoo will peel and itch, you have to take your pain in patience at the risk of altering the final rendering Doing sports (intensive muscle movements and sweating may also alter healing, it is recommended to take a break of at least 3 weeks and then resume slowly)

If Dermalize or Second Skin: If the dressing strongly weakens, if you notice small red patches or small pimples around the dressing, please remove it following the indications explained above After the first night, it happens that the tattoo disgorges ink and blood, so the tattoo under the Dermalize may look all drooling but do not worry, when you remove it a few days later, everything will be as planned! If a bell forms under the Dermalize and looks filled with ink and blood, it may be preferable to remove the dressing according to the size and location of the bell. Formally avoid piercing it and regluing the dressing If part of the dressing comes off, it is forbidden to stick it back on the tattoo.
